Updated: Aug 16

Schluter Ditra-Heat Electric Floor Warming System with Integrated Uncoupling Membrane

  • Electric Heat Wire installed into an uncoupling membrane and underlayment.

  • The membrane reduces stress between the flooring and subfloor preventing cracks in the tile and grout.

  • Heated Shower Pans

  • Heat Large Floors by Connecting Multiple Wires with a Module

  • 4 Thermostats are Available including a WiFI Smart Home

Trade Considerations

  • An electrician is required to:

    • Run a Dedicated Circuit from Panel

    • Install Separate Conduits for Heat Wire and Sensor

    • Install the Heat Wire

    • Connect Thermostat 7 Days after Tile Completion

  • We work with several electricians and can easily coordinate with them.

Thermostat Options

  • Touchscreen Thermostat: Simple Interface, Limited Programming

  • Programmable Thermostat: Touchscreen, 7 Day, 6 Program Periods Per Day, Energy Consumption Log

  • Wi-Fi Thermostat: Smartphone Connect. Displays Local Temperature and Weather Forecast. Can detect an open window.
